Thai Viet Tourism ("we", "us", "our") operates the Thai Viet Tourism mobile application and the website thaiviettour.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Thai Viet Tourism ("chúng tôi") vận hành ứng dụng di động Thai Viet Tourism và trang web thaiviettour.com. Chính sách này giải thích cách chúng tôi thu thập, sử dụng và bảo vệ thông tin cá nhân của bạn.

2. Information We Collect / Thông tin chúng tôi thu thập

When you use our services, we may collect:

• Personal Information: Full name, email address, phone number, nationality — provided when you submit an eVisa or FastTrack service request.
• Travel Information: Passport photo, portrait photo (which may contain your face), travel dates, airport, visa type, entry type.
• Payment Information: Bank transfer reference codes (we do NOT collect or store credit card numbers, CVV, or bank account details).
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, for app performance optimization only.

3. How We Use Your Information / Cách sử dụng thông tin

• Process your eVisa and FastTrack service requests
• Communicate with you about your orders
• Send confirmation emails and service updates
• Improve our services and user experience
• Automatically pre-check that the passport photo and portrait photo you upload are clear, correctly framed, and meet the requirements, using an AI image-analysis service (see Section 3.1 below)

3.1 Face / Passport Photo AI Validation / Xác thực ảnh bằng AI

What data is sent: When you upload a passport photo or portrait photo in the eVisa application form, the image (which may contain your face and passport data page) is sent to Anthropic's Claude AI API for a one-time, automated check of image quality and format (e.g. is it a valid passport information page / is it a clear portrait photo).

Who it is sent to: Anthropic, PBC ("Anthropic"), the provider of the Claude AI model, via a secure HTTPS request from our own backend server. We do not use any other third-party AI or facial-recognition service.

Consent: This check only runs after you voluntarily choose and upload a photo in the form. A notice is shown next to the upload field before you submit, explaining that the photo will be checked by AI.

Storage & retention by the AI provider: Per Anthropic's API terms, images sent via the API are used only to generate the validation response and are not used to train Anthropic's models; Anthropic may retain API inputs for a short period (up to 30 days) solely for trust & safety / abuse-monitoring purposes, after which they are deleted. We do not instruct Anthropic to store this data long-term.

Storage & retention by us: The original photo you upload is stored on our own servers as described in Section 4 and 7 of this policy (used to process your visa/FastTrack request), independently of the AI check.

Deletion: You may request deletion of your uploaded photos at any time by contacting us using the details in Section 11.

4. Data Storage & Security / Lưu trữ & Bảo mật

Your data is stored securely on our servers with encryption. Passport and portrait images are compressed and stored securely, accessible only by authorized administrators. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• SHA-256 hashed authentication tokens
• Token-protected API endpoints
• Access-restricted image storage
• HTTPS encryption for all data transmission

5. Data Sharing / Chia sẻ dữ liệu

We do NOT sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• When required by Vietnamese immigration authorities to process your eVisa application
• When required by law or legal process
• With your explicit consent
• With Anthropic (Claude AI), limited to the passport/portrait photo you upload, solely to automatically verify the photo meets format requirements — see Section 3.1

6. Third-Party Services / Dịch vụ bên thứ ba

Our app uses the following third-party services:

• Cloudflare: For content delivery and security
• SePay: For payment verification (bank transfer confirmation only)
• Anthropic (Claude AI): To automatically check that uploaded passport/portrait photos meet format requirements. See Section 3.1 for details on what is sent and how it is handled.
• PayPal / WeChat Pay: For processing payments you choose to make via these methods, for the underlying travel service (not in-app digital goods)
• Apple Push Notification service (APNs): To send you notifications about your order status

7. Data Retention / Thời gian lưu trữ

We retain your personal data for a period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, typically up to 12 months after your last service request, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

• Access your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time

9. Children's Privacy / Quyền riêng tư trẻ em

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
